Amber Sterud Hayward, Director of Puyallup Tribal Language Program, delivered a presentation entirely in Twulshootseed on the tragic experiences of Cushman Indian Boarding School and Cushman Indian Hospital to Tacoma City staff. Chairman David Z. Bean and tribal staff from the Historic Preservation Department, Planning Department, and the Language Program were also part of the presentation and discussion.
