Realty and Trust Services
Mission
The Puyallup Tribe of Indians’ Realty and Trust mission centers on protecting and managing tribal lands and assets, providing professional services to landowners, and acquiring land for economic development, all while honoring trust responsibilities and promoting community well-being through sustainable stewardship and adherence to federal/tribal laws. Key goals include supporting land consolidation, facilitating sales/leases, and ensuring financial integrity for programs. We currently provide the following services:
- Land Sales
Trust Services helps landowners sell their Indian trust land. This includes working in the landowner’s best interest on the sale and having the sale approved by the BIA. If a Tribal member is interested in doing this, please contact Realty@PuyallupTribe-nsn.gov. - Fee to Trust Transfers
Trust Services assists with the transfer of land title from an individual Puyallup Tribal Member or the Puyallup Tribe of Indians to the United States, in trust, for the benefit of that individual Indian or Tribe. - Fee Simple Property Acquisition
Trust Services procures fee simple property at the direction of the Tribal Council for the purpose of reducing checker boarding within the reservation boundary and to promote Tribal sovereignty. Property sale offers can be given to Realty staff via email at Realty@PuyallupTribe-nsn.gov for them to be packaged up for Council review.
