Families gathered on the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority campus Aug. 7 for the School Days, Healthy Ways Health Fair. With another year of school on the horizon, this event provided families with opportunities to schedule physicals, immunizations, check-ups and more.
Various PTHA departments set up booths between the two buildings, with games, crafts, face painting, snacks, and other fun activities kids could enjoy and win prizes at.
Each attendee was given a “Passport to Wellness,” where a booth visit earned them a stamp. Guests could play a game, listen to healthy living tips, pose for a photo op, or participate in some kind of activity centered around healthy living and self-care. Those who received at least six stamps were rewarded with a gift card.
