The Culture Department gathered Sept. 29 to host a Welcome Home Dinner to celebrate the completion of this year’s Canoe Journey,
Thanking those who lent their time and talents over the summer, Culture Director Angie Totus kicked off the dinner.
Heritage Division Manager Connie McCloud offered her sincerest thanks to those who helped with the Canoe Journey as well, stating the event was a huge success.
McCloud also mentioned that planning for next year’s journey, set to be held in Alaska, are already underway.
