Elders gathered at Tribal Administration on Aug. 22 for a drive-in style Elders Luncheon hosted by the House of Respect staff.
The smell of barbecue filled the air as Elders pulled in their vehicles to enjoy the warm weather and partake in a community meal together. Accompanying the event was Arny Bailey & Friends, who returned from previous luncheons to perform live music.
The luncheon concluded with a raffle hosted by Puyallup Tribal Council Chairman Bill Sterud, Vice Chairwoman Sylvia Miller, Councilman James Rideout and Councilman Fred Dillon with lucky Elders taking home cash prizes.
